Privacy Policy
Draft for review by EDC and DPH. This outline reflects how the site is built (contact form, newsletter sign-up, analytics, spam protection). Replace it with the approved policy before launch.
The Community Birth and Doula Initiative (CBDI) website is run by Education Development Center (EDC) in partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH). This policy explains what information the website collects, why, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
- Contact form (Get Involved): your name, email address, organization, role and message. We use them to reply to you and to understand who the initiative is reaching.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address, held by our email provider so we can send the newsletter. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics: if enabled, Google Analytics records pages visited, approximate location and device type, so we can improve the site. It does not identify you by name.
- Spam protection: forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated spam.
- Server logs: our host keeps standard logs (such as IP address and browser) for security.
How we share information
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers named above, which process it on our behalf, and with DPH where needed to run the initiative.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you sent us, or unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Use the contact form on the Get Involved page.
